Over the weekend we made quite the awesome discovery: the garden in the backyard of our new home, that we mayyybe had ignored for two months, was chock full of tomatoes of every variety. Being a tomato fanatic, I pretty much rejoiced in my black thumb luck. We filled a strainer full of tomatoes, and now I’m dreaming in bright juicy red tomatoes. Summer rocks.
I have big plans for these little guys and I thought I would share a few of my favorite ways to use late-summer tomatoes; a.k.a., all of the best tomato recipes where the tomato is the star of the show.
