DIY Escort Cards: Vintage Pharmacy Bottle Vases

Over the weekend I stumbled upon a pin that had my heart all aflutter. After a little digging, I learned that the flower display was actually an escort/name card wall from a truly beautiful wedding. The bride and groom, both pharmacists, wanted to do something a little different to let guests know where they would be sitting (it also served as a great entrance to the party.) Their guests name cards were made out of old-fashioned pharmacy bottles with labels on each one listing the guest’s name and table number. The bottles were then used to hold flowers in the soft pink color scheme of the party.

I love that this is such a simple DIY with beautiful results. Collect old pharmacy and apothecary bottles online, at yard sales and thrift shops, create your own personalized party label and write in guest’s information (handwriting will give it that vintage feel), and fill the bottles with flowers to match your big day. I may just have to make a few of these for our living room mantle!
