Little Love Notes

Red Dress and Camel Coat - Street Style - Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine’s Day and President’s weekend, ya’ll. Any big weekend plans? We’re keeping it low-key. Hubby just found out he has Saturday off (this is a big deal!) so we’re scrambling to come up with cute family-friendly ways to celebrate. So excited for Scarlett’s first Valentine’s Day! Follow along on social media (Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram) for all of the cute snaps.

And with that, a few little love notes …

Dear small business go-getters, the funny story behind how Zara got its name.

Dear Madewell fans, anyone have any thoughts on Madewell’s denim? I’ve been eyeing these high riser skinny skinny jeans (I am so in love with mid-rise and high-rise jeans as of late!), but I haven’t quite pulled the trigger on these. All advice is appreciated! #jeanshy

Dear decor lovers, you have to check out this One Kings Lane sale. Table-top perfection.

Dear bedroom re-do, a blue velvet headboard ( … from Target!); I think this might just be love.

Dear Brides, how can I talk you into this dress? Utter perfection.

Dear Nashville fans, (Oh it is totally my guilty pleasure), watch Lennon and Maisy’s “Boom Clap” Cover. It is awesome.

Dear weekend baking, 14 favorite Valentine’s Day desserts (most you can make with stuff you already have in your kitchen.)

Get the origins of these sweet little love notes, here.

Madewell jeans are mostly great on me, look great on my butt/hips/thighs but for some reason the knees are a little too big on me. I may just have a severe knee deficiency though 😉

In regards of the photo… I love how those cuffs, they contrast beautifully with the vibrant red sweater 🙂

  3. Totally recommend Madewell’s denim! I got my first pair about a month ago and am really impressed – the fit is great!
