Every fashion girl knows and loves the street style star and Moda Operandi’s artistic director, Taylor Tomasi Hill. With her signature red hair and statement making, color-packed outfits spotted all over New York City, it’s no surprise that her Chelsea apartment – a place she and her high school sweetheart-turned-husband, Chase, spent a long time hunting down – is every inch eclectic and gorgeous. Prepare yourself for texture and color galore, straight ahead.
The splashes of color mixed with vintage and salvage pieces really has my heart.
And the rustic metal-worked farm table in the dining room — I don’t think it get’s much cooler than that. The very best part: the farm-style table was actually left in the apartment by the previous owners. According to Taylor, it’s certainly been put to good use. “It has already been used as a runway, a dance floor, and place to carve Halloween pumpkins.”
“I am obsessed with texture,” says Hill, photographed in the entranceway of her Chelsea home. “Sometimes I think I want a whitewashed apartment, but in the end I can’t manage to stay away from color.”
