Vintage-Meets-Modern Home in London’s Notting Hill {Slideshow}

This stunner of a home is nestled in Westbourne Grove (and is in the heart of London’s Notting Hill).  It’s actually on Artesian Road, which is a highly desirable and quiet residential street perfectly placed just behind Westbourne, which is one of the most fashionable streets in all of London, chock full of designer fashion boutiques, luxury brand flagship stores, shoe and bag designers, maternity, baby and children’s wear specialists and bespoke jewellers.  And did I mention the home is just two minutes from the famous Portobello Road?  (Remember that perfect Sunday market hubby and I went to on Portobello?)  In case you were wondering, I’m sold.  And if you’ve ever been to London, you’ll know that Notting Hill is one of the most charming and perfect areas in all of London – think homes in every color of the rainbow and the most charming stores and cafés you have ever laid eyes on.  If you haven’t been to London, watch Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts in the film, Notting Hill, and try not to want to run away to London and open up a little bookshop in the Notting Hill area.

Aside from a stellar location, the five-story family home is full of charm and comfort, and just the right touch of modernity and crisp design.  And by the way, did you see that rooftop garden?  Amazing.

In case you’re in the market for a beautiful modern home in the heart of Notting Hill, look no further (this one’s for sale!)
