Ever since my random sighting of Jenna Lyons, cooly waiting on a stoop in Soho, back during New York Fashion Week, I’ve become extra-intrigued by the stunning J.Crew creative director and president. And her former Park Slope residence, a townhome just a few stops out of Manhattan, is everything you would expect from the fashion powerhouse, and then some. (The home went on the market at the end of 2012, fully decorated, for $3.75 million. And though Jenna no longer occupies the stunning townhouse, her touch is still apparent in every detail.)
The textures (fur and sheepskin rugs abound), the black-grey chalkboard walls, brass fixtures, the crown moulding and claw-footed tub, it’s all so luxe.
The bedrooms also look incredibly livable and comfortable, which I love.
And last, but certainly not least, the private terrace and rear garden really have my heart. There is so much natural light, and the flowers … wow. Now if only we could all live like that in NYC.
