Is it just me or do the fabulous women in that first picture look like a colorful group stepping out of a promo shot for old Sex and the City advertisements?

I am in love with the 3D butterflies decorating nurseries and funky craft rooms. And as a wedding backdrop or even a wall in a wedding or party photobooth — it’s love.
As for the pictures from this lovely styled wedding shoot, from the ladies of Enjoy Events Co.: “We created over a hundred hand cut-out + watercolor butterflies to place on the industrial wall to evoke a romantic vibe with a twist.”
DIY, Do It Yourself:
I love the idea of sweeping watercolors or an ombré pattern – so I would choose colored paper in varying complimentary colors or shades. I can’t help but think glitter or lace would look pretty amazing on these pretties as well (all you’d need is mod podge)! Once you’ve cut out your desired number of butterflies, use two-sided tape and adhere them to the wall in whatever pattern you like.
Hand-holding was awkward, being dropped off at the movie theater for your date – more awkward, but when he made you a mix tape – that was love. Because I live a sound-tracked life (more on that here), and because I am a product of the 80s, every Wednesday I’ll make you a mix tape. Who says chivalry is dead? You’re welcome.

Why shouldn’t you get to dress like a couture bird on your wedding day? And these gorgeous feathered sandals by Brian Atwood are really utter perfection. Bring on the feathers.
Though it should come as no surprise, bloggers always have some of the most styled, elegant homes. I on the other hand, spread my little creative outbursts across office/craft-room (that my husband put so much hard work into … and I now litter with ribbon, glitter, stamps, needles, office files, sandwich bags, my mind), kitchen counter, dining room table, coffee tables, nightstand, and bursting out of every drawer.
Back to the bloggers with the elegant homes …
stephmodo featured Maria’s home – the blogger behind Dreamy Whites – and it is just lovely. Maria lives on a horse ranch in Northern California, where her husband is a professional trainer. She’s transformed her home into a French-inspired farmhouse, all awash in soft whites. I’m thinking of asking to move in.

*As part of the DailyBuzz Style Program, I received free Clear Tone Deodorant from Dove. However, my opinions are entirely my own.
Confidence … it may not be there when I’m stuck on a ballet bar, wondering, how did I once get down from this thing? (True story.) But when it comes to staying dry, especially in not-so-sexy sweat-prone places, confidence is everything. It’s nearly summer, which means, naturally, that I’ve been kicking my exercise plan into overdrive.
Now for the story: last week I started ballet … again … after maybe a 14+ year lull. I’m awful. But I didn’t care. Apparently, after 25, you grow this thing called confidence, and you only nominally care about what other girls think of you. But staying dry, looking cute, and rocking an adorable bow headband while I work out, all help with that confidence as well.
And Dove Clear Tone Deodorant helps you feel fresh and dry; intense, sweaty, hour-and-a-half ballet class and all.
As a day-to-day deodorant, Dove Clear Tone goes on clean, doesn’t get all over your clothes, and keeps you protected. It also smells great – kind of like a Cabbage Patch doll – which I know, sounds weird, but is kind of awesome.
