Decorating the Trees

If the weather is right, there’s nothing like an outdoor wedding – whether it’s a ceremony, cocktail hour, or reception – the scenery is incomparable.  And though a woodsy setting has plenty of rustic charm all on it’s own, a few accents never hurt.  #IHeartAccessories (… even for trees.)

A few of my favorite tree adornments …

I’m a sucker for a good chandelier – they’re so vintage, romantic, and oh-so-sparkly, and strung (tightly) from a sturdy branch at an outdoor reception — magic. {Images 1 // 2 // 3 // 4}

Lights strung through the branches look stunning, especially at events held during the evening.  And twinkling tree lights can save the day when an early Fall takes away some anticipated foliage.  {Image found here.}

As a nod to family and all of that rich history, why not hang framed pictures on a tree by the sign-in or dessert table, where everyone can have a chance to look at all of the old photographs? {Image via Style Me Pretty.}

Lanterns hung from the trees add the perfect dimmed lighting to any intimate event and fit perfectly with a rustic-themed wedding.  If your wedding is full of color, bright Moroccan-inspired lanterns would also look lovely hanging from the trees.  {Images found here and here.}

And lastly, hanging tables.  I just founds these and I am in love.  {Image found here.}
