Friday Link Love

Happy Holidays!  I’ve got one party down, two to go, not including New Year’s.  Whew!  I hope you all are having a lovely holiday, braving the shopping crowds, and getting everything you wished for.  All I know is my shoe numbers are growing and I like it!

Baking goal for the weekend (a not so lofty goal considering how easy these look to make): Palmiers (fancy French term for “elephant ears”). The 3 Ingredients: 2 cups granulated sugar, 1/8 teaspoon kosher salt, 2 sheets of puff pastry.

After the holidays, I’ll be needing this big bag of leggings, because I’m venturing to guess that nothing else will fit.  Seasons Eatings!

Loving this just-released Taylor Swift song for the new movie, The Hunger Games.  It’s eerily haunting and I have a feeling I’m going to bawl through the movie.  Also, I finally caved and started the first book.  I’ll let you know how that goes!

Really must learn how to knit, or send cookies and promises of  future great-grandchildren to Grandma with above picture attached. {Image here.}

    The Hunger Games are a great trilogy! If after you read them you’re a little down and need a pick-me-up series (as was the case with me!)try the Spellman Files. Those books are light hearted and FUNNY!
