Happy Halloween!

Since the MJ version scares the pants off of me (and I’m sticking with Nicole Richie’s anti-slut-oween costume mantra … a.k.a., pants on):  a prettier, happier version of Thriller

An Indie Vintage Wedding

The groom won us over with his nerd sensibility chic glasses, the bride won us over with that dress.  We are ever fans of vintage dresses – especially those of the wedding persuasion.  Yes to the dress!

But really, they had us at quirky album cover -turned- sign-in book.  Iron & Wine inspired?  {The closeted hipster in me is squealing with delight.}

Friday Link Love

love, want, need = Red Shoes

When you grow up with brown hair, your childhood idols are princesses like Belle and Jasmine.  I was an old movie buff at the ripe old age of six, and so I fancied myself a Dorothy.  And naturally, I wanted red glittered mary janes to prove my allegiance.  Not much has changed in the last #$%*@^&)! years, and I continue to envy ruby red slippers – with precarious heels, luxe leathers, and big girl attitude.
