Shopping Malls, Summer 1990

These pictures make me smile.  The sweatshirts, the hair, the goth kids.  I can hear the soundtrack to Clueless playing right now; cue David Bowie’s All The Young Dudes.  I love the 90s.  Also, I feel old.

Can I just say, I am SO SO SO SO glad this era has gone far, far away. I’m also glad I was a little kid, and therefore never had that horrible hair.

    • I was definitely still tiny in 1990, but I couldn’t escape the double sock look. And I had a shirt clip.

OMG Yes!!! This is so awesome! It’s funny how fashion has changed, but yet we still see some of the same looks and trends!!! I would totally wear some of these styles.

  3. Clueless used to be (maybe still is..?) one of my favorite movies! But I’m also happy I was still very young in the ’90.. far far way from the hair, neon colors and complete jeans outfits;)

LOVE the old ladies smoking on a bench. Love it.

This post also made me feel slightly better about myself, as my husband and I were just looking through an old photo album last night and I was feeling super embarrassed about most of my clothing choices in the 90s. Good to see I’m not alone 🙂
